The movie tells of a man named Jo Tae-Oh who is a third-generation businessman. This man carried out many criminal crimes and fled by hiding behind his fortune. This person is trying to buy a new road, but detective Seo Do-Cheol won't let everything happen as normal.
An exceptional cast, a tight, sharp script with perfect rhythm, rip-roaring comedy, and of course, the exciting action we've come to expect from director Ryoo Seung-wan, makes Veteran an excellent time at the movies.
The bare-knuckle climactic showdown between the two in a crowded Gangnam district is a brutally satisfying resolution to this formulaic but well-made thriller.
