The film revolves around a group of explorers looking for the secrets of eternity in the ancient tombs they entered. It is a cruel mission in the darkness as the film is based on a series of online novel Daomu Biji written by Xu Lei more terrifyingly.
Spectacular visual effects with a few thrilling scenes, but mostly overlong and tedious. It's just as dull, cringe-inducing and disappointing as Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull.
