A story of Vince, the most successful divorce lawyer in New England. He sets up his living philosophy as: “Life is one big competition and losing is unacceptable” which it is also applied in his dating life. Everything just becomes complicated and interesting when Vince meets Jane, a beautiful, talented and strongly-characterized girl. They make a series of entertaining gambling where the winner has the right to decide the destiny of the loser.
Thiswould-be romantic sex comedy ... shoots itself in the foot by initially portraying its hero as a charmless sleazebag and then expecting us to root for him.
