After smoking some top secret pot made by the CIA, two animated stoners, find themselves sling in 2016, and lost a 30 years of their own lives, then the try to get back their lives, and in the same time trying to figure out the modern world, that they are in.
"Ripped" blows a potentially funny idea on slapdash filmmaking and lazy storytelling. If much of this overly broad eye-roller wasn't made up on the fly, it sure looks that way.
It's not a bright idea to end a movie with its worst joke, but Epstein doesn't have much else with "Ripped," which isn't an endeavor stitched together with care.
