Driving by their deep will of revenge from the arrogant but handsome boss they have, three secretaries, who make their mind to capture him and run the corporation, the thing that challenges them.
[Parton] is, on the basis of this one film, a natural-born movie star, a performer who holds our attention so easily that it's hard to believe it's her first film.
The situations and dialogue are reflections of the tiresome grind that has become the average American workforce, a routine of artifice and pleasantries that mask an inner disgust for corporate politics.
It's clearly a movie that began as someone's bright idea, which then went into production before anyone had time to give it a well-defined personality.
