A hired carpenter is treated badly by a Joanna Stayton. He later gets an opportunity to take revenge on her as he is the first person who discovers that she has amnesia. He persuades her that she is his wife, to look after his four mischievous kids.
Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn are truly the only reasons to keep watching this otherwise flaccid comedy, which feels static when it should zing and oppressive when it should soar.
Not rotten, so surprisingly good in its mediocrity.
