The film tells about Henry, a small criminal sent to Alcatraz. One day, Henry was caught trying to escape, and as punishment, he was put in solitary confinement. After removing Henry from solitary confinement, a young man was able to stab a prisoner in the neck, which led to his death. Now, a junior lawyer appears to prove that Alcatraz is the cause of the process.
O roteiro maniqueísta e a direção pesada, nada sutil, de Rocco comprometem irremediavelmente o filme - que ainda conta com a atuação nada convincente de Slater.

Moving story of justice but too intense for kids.

More than likely you will forgive the compromises -- the story of Henri Young needed to be told.

Slater, who in certain shots looks curiously like Kevin Costner, is an actor with talent, but he is too young for this role, and not confident enough to dial down a little.
