The charming star Joan Waheed Crawford begins a new experience by harboring an orphan. With the two new children, they seem to be a really happy family, while things turn upside down during a while. Now, it appears that alcohol, men and the pressures of artistic performances are turning them into abusive debris over time.
The character is rendered such a grotesque, its moments don't accumulate to an arc or even a readable profile. They just pile up, like cars in a traffic accident, and all we can do is gawk.
