The film is full of fears about a host of interesting events. Where a group of US naval engineers, led by Captain Laidlao, build an underwater base when they accidentally disturb the hideout of a giant creature. The monster attacks, and crew, including lovers Collins and McBride, are trying to evacuate, but the facility has been badly damaged. After the external collapse, the desperate people are increasingly separated from each other, and the creature begins to separate them one by one.
