The film revolves around Georgie Dwyer, who still doubts her plans to marry Dr. Philip Hamilton, a prominent plastic surgeon. During this period, it appears that the troublesome mother and her frightening future mother-in-law may prompt a chance encounter with a stranger who can turn things around completely.
