Colonel James Braddock lives during a tragic period during the war in Vietnam. During this time, James fell in love with a woman named Lin Tan Kang. Over time, James believes Lin has died since the war, but he hears from one of the missionaries that Lin is still living with a son. During this period, James tries to return to Vietnam to save his wife, son and a group of American orphans.
