A comedy and thriller movie that follows Eddie and Paul who were in the prison together having the same punishment period. After they get out, they work in a restaurant in New York where they meet an English lawyer called Katherine Rookwood. Katherine tells them an offer that may change their whole position and they may agree entering an exciting adventure.
"Blue Iguana" ends up a slack Ritchie-esque thrill ride of sarcasm, thievery, and wrong moves, opening without a welcome mat and concluding with body-coating bloodshed.
If you like British comedy that features American guest stars, then you'll like Blue Iguana and it's 118 minutes of silliness. It gets a recommendation for Rockwell and Schwartz's performance alone.
Who wouldn't want a "Desperately Seeking Susan" meets "Reservoir Dogs"? Alas, this ends up more "The Linguini Incident" meets "The Boondock Saints," an imitation of wan imitations.
