It's the story of Kylie Winters, an intimidating and self-hating teenager. Kylie works in the field of kindergarten in a secluded country mansion on Halloween night, where she faces a tragic path every day. Within a short period, a young boy wearing a pig mask appears at the door trick as Kylie's life turns into a terrifying and violent cat and mouse game, and she must go beyond what she thought and what she thinks.
That plot isn't especially original, but it's employed in the service of a vicious and effective genre project, and the time spent on character development makes us genuinely care about Kylie's survival.

One suspects the "actual events" involved first-time director Audrey Cummings at one point in her life watching better babysitter thrillers such as Halloween or When a Stranger Calls, because Berkshire County is nothing close to original.
