In this film, both Ed and Sarah live a strong adventure when they decide to buy a new farm in Scotland. Now, the two coexist with this strange place where the sun is on their faces in the forest again. Over time, Ed and Sarah discover that there is a real nightmare in the evening, as they feel they do not belong to that place and that they are not really welcome in this dangerous place.
even if White Settlers is somewhat flawed, it has certainly come at the perfect moment, and may even, at least within the shadowy borderlands of the horror community, spark a debate about the rights and wrongs of Scottish claims to independence.
