Born in Bedford, Texas, Daniel attended the University of North Texas where he studied music and film. He toured in the band, Modakai, as the singer/ song writer, for several years with songs on US and UK radio. He moved to New York in 2006 where he attended Stella Adler School of Acting and Circle in the Square Theater School. In 2014, Daniel won two "best actor" awards and two "best film" awards in international film festivals for his role in "Rambler"; in which he lost 30 pounds and shaved his head to play a scarred up Cockney serial killer.
