Justin Gabriel, actor and musician. Born Justin Smith, on May 30, 1986 in West Islip, New York. He is the middle of five children of a beautician mother, Suzette, from Deer Park, New York, and a Construction Safety Specialist and musician father, Wayne Smith, from Huntington, New York. His grandfather is an artist and painter and brother Wayne a singer and artist. After graduating from high school, Justin served in the United States Navy. Upon his honorable discharge from the Navy, Justin worked as a Executive Protection Specialist. He completed a two year acting conservatory at Terry Knickerbocker Studio in Brooklyn, New York. Justin makes his television debut as Rick, on TLCs 'Too Close to Home', written, produced and directed by Tyler Perry.
