This movie revolves around a world where there is no privacy, vague, or anonymity. Crime is almost disappeared till a detective, Sal Frieland, on her trying to solve a series of unsolved murders, finds out that a young woman that subverted the system and disappeared. At this point, Sal, realized that the crime seems to begin not to end as she follows this young woman who has no history, privacy, or identity and threaten the live and security of Sal.
It's an amiable thriller that will definitely account for an enjoyable couple of hours in the lives of Netflix subscribers, though it likely won't leave the same impact as Niccol's best work.
A high-concept popcorn movie and none the worse for that, Anon gets the tech noir job done and will leave you pondering your digital footprint as you nervously exit the theatre. Mind the step.
