Born and Raised in Augusta, GA. He spent his formative years in the Boys and Girls Club of Augusta, where he learned a lot about himself and others as well. Educated in Richmond County BOE Schools John Milledge Elementary, Tubman Middle, Lucy C. Laney High after graduating the following fall he attended Augusta State University.
