Recognized internationally as the "Staples Guy" national spokesperson and for over 100 digital shorts and sketches as "the nicest douchebag on the internet" (Hypable.com), native North Carolinian Brendan Bradley first discovered his passion for storytelling at the age of 15. After booking the lead in his first play, Brendan immediately went on to star in an emotional, discussion-provoking production by South African playwright Athol Fugard about the Apartheid. What captivated the young thespian most about this experience was the way in which one could create an imaginary universe to have a conversation about real social issues. The following year, Brendan took it upon himself to self-produce his own work, earning local media coverage, a sold-out run and the attention of the acting program at New York University Tisch School of the Arts. During his studies in New York, Brendan produced over a dozen original, Off-Broadway and off-Broadway plays and musicals, followed by a program at the Royal Academy in London to further refine his skills. After graduating, Brendan continued simultaneously acting and producing in New York stage and independent film until a neoteric form of entertainment, coined "new media", lured him to Los Angeles Combining all the best and workable elements of off-Broadway theater with micro-budget filmmaking, Brendan discovered that content produced online had the potential to reach an exponentially larger audience than a black box theater or film festival. He began developing short videos for advertisers on YouTube which provided him with the resources to create his first long-form series called 'Squatters', which was picked up as Daily Motion's first original comedy, won dozens of awards and called "the best indie comedy on the web" by Tubefilter News. As an early member within the web series community, Brendan has since worked with some of the biggest names and channels online, most recently tapped by The Fine Bros for a recurring role in YouTube Red's first original scripted series, 'Sing It'. Offline, Brendan's traditional TV and film acting career has flourished as well. A recent guest stint on CBS's 'Elementary' saw Brendan playing the unusual role - 3 actually - as multiple doppelgangers, one which required him to learn and speak German. Brendan guest stars in the 2017 mid-season pickup 'Doubt', and in Tyler Perry's series for OWN, 'The Have and the Have Nots'. He's also starring alongside a distinguished set of actors in the feature film 'In Vino' wherein he portrays the trusted butler of billionaire Charles Bouitton (Ed Asner); the film also stars Sean Young. As Brendan graduates to the next phase of his career, there is no doubt that his foothold will remain strong across both digital and traditional storytelling. Whether he is acting, directing, producing, or writing, Brendan's uncanny knack for recognizing early trends within the entertainment industry gives him the necessary edge to propel his career to groundbreaking levels.
