In the second season of the series, Kenny starts the first gay, gay and bisexual club. In the new phase, it evolves to reach a heterosexual course in school, while Eileen tries to have feelings for VP Murray and realizes that her feelings must be controlled.
Last year's finale seemed to isolate the O'Neals as a group, but season two sees them branching out in a way that hints at promising secondary characters and relationships outside of the family.
Both Kenny and his family have to learn to accept him the way he is, and thanks to The Real O'Neals' smart course corrections and Galvin's excellent comic timing, that story has really become something special.
