The series begins with many powerful animation adventures. When the giant Orca whale is confined to the beach, Captain Barnkins and Octonauts plan to drag him back to the water, with the help of some of the violinists. On the other hand, Captain Barnacles and the crew must pick up the runaway octopus, when he is kidnapped by a group of crustaceans in an attempt to escape from algal-infested waters.
This preschool series is a bit like what you'd expect if you mixed Finding Nemo with Star Trek. There's a lot of imagination in the characters and their rescue gadgets.
