This new series is so poorly written and developed that I'm praying for a swift cancellation so that I can block it from my mind and everyone involved can move on to better things.
This is a combination of watered-down hospital drama and watered-down mob drama, and the combination not only doesn't make either half better, it makes both sillier.
Reading a description of The Mob Doctor, you might think, wait - is that a parody? And you wouldn't be far off, although the new Fox medical-crime drama takes itself very, very seriously.
