An accidental killing leads a man down a dark hole of intrigue and murder. Just as he finds love and freedom, one phone call brings back the nightmare.
Genre fans will be well-served here, and while eight episodes seem like one or two too many, the time will fly by and The Innocent will almost certainly be another hit.
