The events of the series present a wide range of dramatic and criminal events taking place in the coastal town of Morecambe. In that area, Sergeant Liza Armstrong, who was assigned to investigate missing persons in the village, was appointed. It looks like a normal investigation at first, where it seems like another tragedy. Things are changing completely with Armstrong, who discovers that there is a situation that may change things when she realizes that she has a personal connection to the frightening family. It seems that all things will turn into a completely different turn.
Proceedings are off to a good start then, with intrigue, coastal beauty, a solid cast and the quite genius move of making the victims twins, enabling crime drama fans to have our corpse cake and eat it.
ITV's new crime drama is basically Baychurch, to the point that it would be of little surprise if Olivia Colman strode in in a lank grey trouser suit and started crying.
