Pelly once discovers that Stephanie is still already being held on charges of money laundering and she seems already reluctant to take over the job, she agrees to host Stephanie's daughter.
Piper seems to think that Secret Diary of a Call Girl is harmless. But it actually manages to be both trite, inane fluff and seriously pernicious, sending what is a depressing message to young girls who see Billie Piper as a role model.
It wasn't clear why Showtime made such quick work of Billie Piper's possible last season as London Call Girl 'Belle Du Jour,' but it is likely that this moderately well-received British import has hit its stride with American audiences.
