Living in such a town in Norwegian, where people suffer from the bad weather they have that changes rapidly, as they face many years of droughts and winter comes to be so warm, the thing that challenges them and risks their life, but once, by the help of someone, everything changes.
Ragnarok should be on every supernatural movie fan's playlist. Not the story you think, and that is the best thing about this enormously entertaining take on a contemporary battle of the Norse gods and their adversaries.
Has a fairly shaky grip on its tone, but the YA drama works well in tandem with its smart adaptation of Norse myth, even if it doesn't quite stick the landing in the end.
It moves quickly, but Ragnarok's biggest problem is that it keeps stumbling into Twilight-style storytelling, alternating dour and portentous drama with unintentionally comical interludes.
