Two strangers are given the task to survive together for 21 days in the most dangerous land of the earth, without any clothes or supplies. They need to survive against the difficulty of the landscape and the animals which are ready to hunt every minute, and most importantly they need to set their egos aside to survive together successfully.
The experience looks very difficult, but also a little boring, which explains the need for the in-your-face title: "Filthy and Exhausted" just doesn't have the same ring.
Discovery is promoting "Naked and Afraid" as "the Everest of survival challenges," but it looks more like Central Park - the danger seems doubtful even by the debased standards of reality television.
The real genius of this show, of course, is its title. Even if you know nothing about it, care nothing about reality TV and really should be getting to bed, how can you possibly resist at least checking it out?
