The drama series deals with the story of Inspector Lewis to Oxford. Louis once returned from a two-year engagement abroad, but he must face his fate after returning home and is immediately involved in the murder of an American student. Now, Louis' fate remains incomprehensible over time as he tries to understand what happened.
But like its titular character, Lewis has successfully stepped out of the shadow of its predecessor and is not only a fitting tribute, but an enjoyable show in its own right.
