It helps that the cast is uniformly great, from the reluctant, gentle patience of Charlotte Ritchie and Kiell Smith-Bynoe as Alison and Mike, to the spectrum of daftness that is the ghosts.
I wish I liked Ghosts more. It's harmless, silly fun and I would rather watch 100 episodes of this than one of the BBC's more topical comedies. But it just doesn't make me laugh.
