We live here in a series of powerful animations, where after fifty years in the future, a tyrannical force of oppression threatens to destroy the world, which may make things out of control. Things seem to be getting harder and so a bold team is being recruited to test a new form of armed neuroscience that protects the world from these dangerous confrontations. Now, the team must be ready to confront all that is happening.
If the first two episodes, packed with action, heart, and humor, heartbreaking twists and back-stabbing turns, don't grab you, then clearly ''gen:LOCK is not the show for you.
While the addition of impressive voice talent like Jordan, Fanning, Tennant, Williams, and Dillion is appealing, it doesn't do enough to enhance what is ultimately a flimsy story.
The show has a cast full of extremely likeable and interesting characters that already make it well worth watching. But it's still missing a larger story that's worth letting those characters tell.
