The new season begins with everyone seeking for his own goals, Cersei Lannister still seeks for controlling the world and kill all other families who threats the throne. Daenerys helps Jon against the dead army in an attempt to get his loyalty and get the throne after that. Among all of that, Jon still doesn't know thing about his reality and his right in the Iron Throne, the thing that may crash his alliance with Daenerys. Sansa keeps Winterfell safe with the help of the hungry-for-revenge her sister Arya.
