In an exciting and dramatic atmosphere, this series follows Frankie Drake, a female detective in Toronto who has a good career for dealing with the mysterious cases that the local police can't handle with it. She is helped by her partner, Trudy. The second season comes up with new exciting stories such as that about the kidnapping operation with which Frankie has to deal quickly because the captive is so sick.
The series holds back from crossing into didactic moralizing, but instead approaches history from a different angle, enough to be stimulating and to inspire curiosity.
