New and exciting events begin in the second season without interruption. Jeff and his family will discover that things look very bad after ASA's attack. Green light children are on the streets and the board of directors threatens to close Garfield, and Anisa no longer has other powers under its control.

Khalil is unquestionably a villain for killing Black Lightning and committing illegal acts. However, just like Jefferson, I agree that there is potential to redeem the character.
Lynn is promising Dr. Jace visitation to see her son as a way to convince her to join her work, but it's only a matter of time before Dr. Jace takes advantage of her freedom.
Green Light is ruining lives, but so are the authorities. Freeland cops don't know how to deal with the epidemic, and so far this season, the villain is less a single entity than a lack of coordinated effort within the community to fix things.
Seeing Black Lightning as not just a crime-fighting vigilante, but one who can do good for others like him, is a wonderful new storytelling avenue to open up.
