In an exciting atmosphere, this comedy series comes up with much more excitement and comedy that follows a trio of detectives, a milkshake, meatball, and a bucket of fries, who untie with each other, in order to solve the mysteries.
Due to the surrealness of the show it sometimes gets unfairly dismissed as a stoner comedy. Other than being untrue, it is also a disservice to the quality of writing and acting that goes into it.
Some parents might wonder why this show is funny at all, since it really doesn't make any sense. But maybe the randomness is part of its charm. As a programming choice for kids, ATHF isn't the best.
Aqua Teen Hunger Force was a show about nothing... "nothing" as a kind of earnest hopelessness, an anticipation of meaning that seems forthcoming but which never actually arrives.
