... Yourself and Yours is closer to a Rohmerian moral tale, with a single narrative track containing a situation that leads to personal self-discovery.
Hong crafts his films as if he's simply watching ordinary people, while simultaneously layering his gimmickry over average-seeming lives in order to reveal broader truths.

Yourself and Yours is another delightfully charming comedy from the Korean master whose lightness of touch never belies the emotional depth lurking beneath the surface.
