[Ryan Piers] Williams is a rarity, a director who can not only act but does so with skill: a credible leading everyman.
Williams puts a lot of trust in his ensemble and they deliver, turning out flashes of vulnerability. Ferrera rises to the top, giving an unshowy yet potent performance.
