The film is about a woman named Hala, a woman in her forties. In order to maintain her own, Hala declares war on the local aluminum industry. Hala faces more challenges and risks, risking everything she has to protect Iceland's highlands. With the arrival of a small orphan in Hala's life, everything seems to change completely in her life.
