The film is about a hardened boy Butchie (Vandolph) who meets his match in Mike (Fernando Poe Jr.) and is further polished by his teacher Tess (Alice Dixson). Butchie is housed by his aunt, a gambler who has an abusive lover. Butchie sells water for a living.
