The story takes place on a film set in Australia. Mary Horton is a middle-aged woman. As she feel lonely and boring, she decides to hire a young, mildly retarded man - Tim. When Tim's mother dies Marry always by his side so they are fall in love but everybody does not believe in their love.
Tim comes close to reproducing the plot of Doubt, in negative-space fashion. That is, for this go-round, we spend all our time with the uncomprehending kid (if he is uncomprehending?) and his teacher-nurturer-desirer.
