The story is very exciting when he learns that a thief named Nick Wells will manage an almost impossible robbery after he has been thinking of retiring and leaving the underworld. Max, Nick's old friend, who cuts Nick's retirement plan from crime and stability with his fiancée Diane, is convinced by a very big theft. After that, Nick violates his most important rules, always working alone to join Max and his team, where Nick changes the decision to stop the crime through the biggest theft for them.
Restoring the seductive style of the no-nonsense procedural heist movie to complete luster, this is the kind of pic that knows the difference between being masculine and being macho.

The story is so dull and perfunctory, the audience just enjoys watching the actors...

A droning, high-toned little heist picture with no dash and no raison d'être.

Three of the most accomplished actors of their respective generations, Brando, De Niro, and Edward Norton, are underused in this old-fashioned heist crime picture.
