In this film, Jasmine and Sky are locked in a mission by taking their brothers to the inhabited quarantine station. In learning the strange region, they pretend to evoke the soul of the troubled girl. This experience seems to change the lives of these girls as they begin to realize that their actions have had serious consequences because of what happened.
The Quarantine Hauntings is a great example of independent horror being created in Australia that holds enough sting in its tail for those who like endings with a good wallop.
Exhibiting a solid understanding of genre machinations, [co-directors Bianca Biasi and Arnold Perez] make up for a lack of narrative inspiration with sufficiently solid scares.
