The movie tells the story of the Archangel Gabriel and his search for an evil soul on Earth which will end the stalemated war in Heaven, and only a former priest and a little girl can stop him.

Surprisingly, the appearance of perennial film weirdo Walken in slicked-back raven hair actually marks the point where The Prophecy begins to slow down and deteriorate.
It looked a lot fresher when it was new, but it's still intriguing.
