The film embodies the itinerary of three of the Slow Misfits: Larry the Cumber, Mr. Lunt and Pa Pa Grape. These people find themselves on a random journey with their lives. One day, they are mysteriously transported to the time when pirates ruled the high seas, as the three embarked on their first real and mysterious path in their lives.
Young children appreciate all the bouncing shapes and bright colors (speaking of which, you might wonder why Robert the Terrible is a darker shade of green than any of his relatives), but anyone over six will be bored early and often.
