The American

Dramatic events continue in the life of an American murderer. After escaping from an ambush beside a remote Swedish lake, the American man went to Rome to spend the last mission and get away from it. But gives him control as he makes a special weapon for a Belgian murderer. During that time he talks to the town priest and occasionally spends the night with Clara, a local prostitute. Is it time to move away from murder and lead a normal life?

The filmmakers seem to have forgotten that it takes more than a brooding assassin to engage the audience for the full runtime of the film. Moreover, if that character isn't involved in an interesting narrative, they'll have even less reason to care.
