In an attempt to get rid of his debts and live safety, Michael Clayton, a young successful and intelligent lawyer, who works for a well-known law firm, where he helps its biggest owners in the challenging cases, takes the case against a well-known chemical firm, the thing that challenges him.
There's a lot of skill involved in Michael Clayton and an understated, ambiguous hero that's becoming rare in modern film. Even if under its subtle surface there isn't really much there, the surface is good enough to make it worthwhile.
