Talking about the adventure story in Superman's life, Louis Loom and Superman are emotionally involved. During the excavation, LexCorp workers discover the Doomsday spacecraft, a transient soldier with a highly hostile genetic architecture toward anything moving. Superman and Judgment Day are in a battle until Superman is killed on the Day of Resurrection and apparently succumbed to his injuries. But eventually he returns to eliminate the bad guys.
