The story tells of a man named Ted Bruce, a dentist in Florida, where this man seems to be rich. The events may change completely when this man knows he has been adopted as a child and that his mother has already died and left him an inheritance in the city of Alaska. Over time, a group of lame dogs named Demon, Diesel, Dutchess, Nana, Mack, Cooper, Sniff, and Yodel were captured, as Ted appeared to be returning to his original homeland.
