The story tells of the graduation of two, Romy and Michel. The story begins when Romy and Michelle graduate from school and passed their graduation from high school ten years. Romy and Michelle discover that they have not been able to accomplish exactly everything. Monday decided to make their way to high school reunion for 10 years and fabricate a perfect lie about their lives in order to convince their classmates in a very smart way.

Robin Schiff's screenplay is filled with memorable zings ("You're just as cute as me," Michele assures Romy. "In some cultures, maybe even cuter."), Sorvino and Kudrow are an irresistible team, and Janeane Garofalo shows up to steal scenes with aplomb.
