In an attempt to leave Rome safety, a group of criminals who after the robbery of a bank, hijack a man with his car, a girl, and a young boy, in order to flee and avoid the police, but incidents come to challenge them.
While there are some eye-opening moments, not the least of which is a foray into a small town that looks like they're in the midst of a May Day celebration straight out of The Wicker Man, there simply are not enough of them.
What this French redo of Mario Bava's 1974 heist thriller lacks in plot it more than makes up for in flashy camerawork, energy ... Hitchcock would have cued us to the surprise twist earlier.
