The life of a young beautiful talented girl, who dreams of gaining fame and fortune, has been changed completely when once, three angels come to give her a song that will turn upside down her life, the thing that inspires her, but she has to follow many rules before gaining fame, the thing that makes her struggle.
Warmhearted. Unfortunately, it's also softheaded...The music in 'Pure Country 2' is quite listenable, but the plot that surrounds the songs is utter hokum.
There are, however, three strokes of genius. Bronson Pinchot, Michael McKean and Cheech Marin as the angels light up the screen. Their celestial banter is a joyful hoot to watch.
